The S-Trax works at its optimum with our IsoFlare point source driver, however any loudspeaker will see improvements in sound. Designed with a sleek, understated look, S-Trax complements a wide range of speakers, making it a perfect addition to upgrade any hi-fi system.

Magnesium dome
Instruments create frequencies far beyond what the human ear can consciously detect—sometimes up to 50kHz or more. Featuring a Magnesium dome tweeter, this lightweight yet rigid material allows for a smooth and extended response, introducing controlled break-up only beyond the audible range.

Traditional super tweeters tend to focus sound in a narrow beam, which limits how evenly high frequencies spread across the room. S-Trax takes a different approach. Using our innovative, patented omnidirectional design, it radiates high frequencies in all directions, creating a more open, spacious, and immersive soundstage—no matter where you’re sitting.

No Frequency Beaming
Forward firing devices will have a very narrow dispersion at these ultrasonic frequencies, which means they will beam like a torch. The 360 degree design of the S-Trax means there will be no beaming but instead an immersive sound stage.

Even Response At Any Angle
In a typical room, a high proportion of sound perceived by the human ear is reflection generated by the off axis response of the speaker. Therefore any enhancement with a super tweeter is best served by an omnidirectional device with even response at any angle, placed at the acoustic centre of the main driver.

Tractrix profile
Known to maintain a 90 degree angle at each intersection of the expanding wavefront. The plane acoustic wavefront generated by the dome is translated into a spherical wavefront into the room, where it meets the diffuser.

Align
The addition of a S-Trax, when time aligned to the acoustic centre of the IsoFlare, will reduce the high frequency phase error by moving the low pass roll off point much higher.
