For one, it measures 30 x 18 x 14 inches (HWD) and weighs in at 84 pounds. Another? Nothing on the planet is like the ultrasonic Fonoteek, or comes close to its versatility, performance, and technology. If you want to experience far more dynamics, details, tones, air, black backgrounds, crucial information from your LPs — and hear far fewer ticks, pops, crackles, veiled passages, and ruinous noise — Fomoteek is made for you. 

A component unto itself, it leverages all the ultrasonic cleaning strengths of the Degritter MkII and adds a brush wash that wipes away larger surface dirt from your LPs. After the wash cycle, Fonoteek continues to set itself apart with a rinse cycle that draws water from a completely separate three-liter water tank positioned right next to a mirror tank that’s used for the cleaning cycles. Three large, activated carbon filters help keep the rinse water pure and filter out any residue from the rinse tank. To ensure your LPs are properly dried, two integrated air blades remove a majority of the water — with the air filtered through removable covers located at the front and back of the unit. Any light moisture remaining on the records will dry in an instant. And to help you get it all started, a 100ml bottle of cleaning fluid comes with Fonoteek.

Fonoteek puts you in total control. You can configure your cleaning programs to suit your needs and save them for future use. Want to specify exactly how long each part of the wash will take, or entirely skip certain parts of the process? All doable. And, like its siblings, Fonoteek monitors all pertinent information such as water temperature and maintenance logistics. Don’t worry about having to remember when you need to clean or replace a brush or filter. Fonoteek will tell you when it’s time.
