Overview
The Acoustic System Phase Corrector may look like a simple instrument grade maple block but its inner workings are more complex. When you walk around your listening room you will notice pockets of greater energy density. One of these energy pockets occurs between the loudspeakers and is concentrated at the interface between the floor and the front wall. From the listening position the result is a blurring of the phase coherency.
The phase corrector, as its name suggests, attempts to correct this phenomenon by disrupting the energy pocket near the floor/front wall interface through a combination of resonance and diffusion. The degree of resonance can be altered by varying the distance between the phase corrector and the front wall.
Among the various ASI tuning products, Phase Corrector can be regarded as one of the accessories that can be clearly heard and improved!
If the bass in the home is long, confused, and close to producing the bass wave, try to put a piece in each speaker. The back is close to the back wall, and then a piece is placed on the ground in the middle of the back wall of the horn. You can immediately hear the improvement!
The simple principle is to eliminate the influence of the reflected wave on the wall of the room. It is according to the volume of your listening. Adjustments are made and the positional distance can also be used as a fine adjustment.
