Overview 

Le Player 2S is an outstanding and elegant DAC and cd-player dedicated to those hi fi enthusiasts who enjoy listening cds. The D/A converter is available through asynchronous USB supporting PCM up to 32 bits / 384 kHz and DSD up to 256. The S/P DIF input supports PCM up to 24 / 192, allowing the connection of many streamers or servers.

This CD player combines the high requirement quality standards of Métronome and a fabulous reproduction of sound.

The transport mechanism from Philips was customized by Métronome, in particular for the top-loading requirements.

Continuous ground link from the disc surface to the electrical earth permits the dissipation of static electricity for better working conditions for electronic and optical components. 

The power supply with individual power transformers and completely independent regulation lines for each critical part of the transport – display, servo mechanism, motor, digital output stage – provides an inter-stage EMI/RFI radiation protection and insures a dynamic analog-like sound quality.

This is the only CD player from Metronome that comes complete in a one-box solution. With Le Player, Metronome have been able to recreate their amazing high-end audiophile sound in a smaller and more convenient package. When it comes to all-in-one CD players, this is a truly special product.
