Overview
HOME CINEMA IMMERSION
CENTRE SPEAKER
Kanta Center is the perfect way to complete a multichannel system from the line. It provides the exact same level of performance, whether at low or very high volume. It is therefore an excellent addition when combined with Kanta N°1 floor standing loudspeakers or the bookshelf loudspeaker, whatever the front and back configuration. The extreme definition of the higher mid-range register and its tonal balance make this a formidable weapon in any Home Cinema set-up. Film fans will be surprised by the sound clarity and speech intelligibility, which are far superior to the norm. The remarkable neutrality lends itself to thrilling emotion for an unparalleled Home Cinema experience. The Sub 1000F subwoofer is the complementary solution to make an ultra high level Home Cinema configuration. And, when it is then linked with the 300 ICW 4 in-ceiling loudspeakers, even the most exacting film fans will enjoy an incredible 3D audio experience in Dolby Atmos, DTS X or Auro-3D.
Optional stand available for optimal integration under the screen.
2-way surround loudspeaker
Surround Be features an exclusive “Bi/Twin” design with twin inputs, enabling the loudspeaker to be used both in 5.1 (Bipolar mode) or 7.1 (double mono mode). This feature avoids having multiple surround loudspeakers in your Home Cinema.
Surround Be is composed of:
– 2 x 61/2″ (16.5cm) “W” cone bass/midrange
– 2 x pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeters
Key points
– Compact high-performance loudspeaker
– Speaker drivers developed and manufactured in France by Focal
Beryllium tweeter
UNEQUALLED PURITY
Due to its incredible rigidity, Beryllium represents the ultimate material for a tweeter dome. After two years of research and development, Focal produced a world first: a pure Beryllium inverted dome, able to cover more than five octaves. You will improve the perception of transients and other micro details. The pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter offers a perfectly linear frequency response and extremely precise and detailed treble. As well, the linearity of the speaker’s response curve is mainly a function of three opposite parameters: lightness, rigidity and damping.
Optimised acoustic performance
‘W’ CONE
The ‘W’ composite sandwich cone permits total optimization of the frequency response curve, thanks to the total control of three key parameters: lightness, rigidity and damping. These unique characteristics of lightness and rigidity provide control of the signal transmission speed inside the material.
