Overview

Setting the correct speed for your platter is one very important part of correct analogue set-up. Clearaudio’s real time speed control stroboscopic light enables analogue fans to get the most accuracy from their Clearaudio speed test record. 

Proper turntable alignment is critical to getting the most from your LPs, speed stability is an essential part of any turntable setup. Every aspect of a turntable’s performance is affected by speed; bass, midrange and treble, tonal balance, even imaging can be affected by incorrect speed.  

The Clearaudio Speed Strobe Light is a calibrated 300Hz quartz light source, vastly more accurate than standard fluorescent light sources, allowing for higher accuracy and greater ease in determining actual platter speed. When used with the Clearaudio Speed Strobe LP this little light takes the stress out of checking platter speed.
