Pro-Ject Audio Systems Stereo Box DS (Black or Silver)

The high-performance integrated amplifier features dual-mono amplification topology using the highest quality PWM amplifier modules (two per channel) for audiophile-grade sound. This amplifier is not only powerful but, is capable of driving difficult speaker loads and is stable down into 2 ohm operation. In addition to four pairs of RCA line level jacks to accommodate a selection of analog inputs, a USB digital input provides easy direct interface with computers.

The built-in D/A converter provides superb sound from your computer files and simplifiesinterface and operation. The large and legible display readout provides status of every operational mode and can be read across the room. The massive metal case shields the internal circuitry form not only detrimental vibrations but also electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the outboard power supply also contributes to the low-noise environment. An IR remote control is supplied.

An out and out purist audiophile design, the standmount or bookshelf F500 speaker utilises a single 150mm (6″) IsoFlare^TM point source driver in a compact, ported cabinet. Offering precise imaging and intimate detailing, the F500 is ideal for small to medium listening rooms. Incorporating a down-firing port, bass energy is evenly dissipated into the room with our BassTrax^TM Tractrix diffuser system.

The luxuriously finished, contemporary styled cabinet is available in a choice of dark oak or black oak real wood veneer and piano gloss black or white. Enhancing its aesthetic appeal, it has a gently curved front and rear baffle which additionally benefits the acoustic performance by reducing colouration effects.
