Overview

Mission 790SE speakers are the latest sonically enhanced (SE) version of the small but powerful Mission 790 bookshelf speakers, a natural successor to the classic Mission 780 and 780SE speakers, in a beautifully lacquered piano black finish. This SE version is sonically enhanced to sound even better than its predecessor thanks to new silk dome tweeters.

790SE is designed with curved cabinets to achieve a synergy between drive units and enclosure. As a result, only simple crossovers are required, using high quality components to maintain signal purity. The cabinets are composed from a multi-layer construction where each layer is tuned to resist vibrations. The result is a compact but very powerful sounding speaker.

These speakers can be used for stereo music and are well suited to a range of amplifiers and iPod amplifier systems. They can also be used with Mission 792SE, Mission 794SE, Mission 796SE and/or the Mission 79C SE centre speaker in a home cinema set-up.
