With a new tweeter, new woofer, new crossover – The Esotan 272 MKII has been constantly improved at all levels, from material to acoustic performance, power handling and durability. This high-performance package is a 2-way component system comprising one pair each of MT171 tweeters, MF172 woofers and X272 crossovers along with all mounting hardware.

MT171 tweeter

The brand-new MT171 tweeter is equipped with the new coated textile dome, neodymium magnet system, 28mm aluminium voice-coil for providing a flatter frequency response and more detailed and natural reproduction.

MF172 woofer

Equipped with the new optimized MSP Magnesium Silicate Polymer (MSP) cone, 65mm aluminium voice-coil and aluminium basket, the brand-new MF172 woofer achieves better control and greater linearity to deliver a very dynamic, natural sound.

X272 crossover

The X272 is designed for the integration of an automotive stereo system comprising a pair each of the MT171 tweeters and MF172 woofers.
