Naim Audio NAP-100 Power Amplifier

Naim NAP100 power amplifier is a classic expression of traditional Naim power amplifier engineering in a more compact package, a perfect match for the Naim DAC-V1 as a desktop set-up or as part of a mini hi-fi setup. The NAP100 provides 50 watts per channel at 8 Ohms, and 75 watts at 4 Ohms, the NAP 100 is a dual mono design based on the circuit topology found in the SuperUniti reference all-in-one player.

While its dimensions are conveniently compact – just 20cm wide – its performance is seriously dynamic and expansive. Combine the NAP 100 with its partner the DAC-V1, and either a computer or UnitiServe for example, to create a thoroughly modern system, bursting with Naim rhythm and clarity.

'A big soundstage, inside which all the strands in the mix are located with laser-guided precision' (Hi-Fi Choice magazine May 2013, reviewed with Naim DAC-V1)

'the NAP 100 has much to offer anyone wanting a fine power amp in compact form' (What Hi-Fi? magazine)

'If you’re in the market for a power amplifier, but don’t fancy some hulking devic'e filling a load of rack-space as comprehensively as it heats the room, the Naim NAP 100 should definitely be on the must-listen list' (What Hi-Fi? magazine)

'It has all the grip and control needed to take speakers by the scruff of their voice-coils and make them do what it wants' (What Hi-Fi? magazine)

'The new Naim DAC-V1/NAP 100 combo you see before you is the Salisbury company's latest attempt to make computer audio accessible. The easiest form of high-resolution playback is, of course, straight off your computer, effectively using it as a digital transport, and the new digital converter [the Naim DAC-V1] is designed to facilitate precisely that' (Hi-Fi Choice magazine May 2013, reviewed with Naim DAC-V1)

'This is another masterful showing from Naim. It takes the good bits from the pricier Naim DAC, adds an excellent aysnchronous USB implementation and a volume control and packages with a really capable little amplifier that's good enough to rip into most speakers. In doing so, Naim has come up with a package that's greater even than the sum of the parts - and brilliant value too' (Hi-Fi Choice magazine May 2013, reviewed with Naim DAC-V1)

'Strong, clean, musical sound; real-world power; size; build quality...really capable budget power amplifier that's the ideal partner for the DAC-V1' (Hi-Fi Choice magazine May 2013, review of the Naim NAP 100)
