In its quest for the best performance in every class, Primare has chosen a level of component quality and layout which is straight from the top drawer.
The I21 is a compact amplifier designed to produce the current necessary to drive demanding loudspeaker loads for greater fidelity. A healthy 75 watts per channel is generated by a massive 800VA toroidal transformer, which, being consistent with Primare’s dual-mono design philosophy, has separate windings for left and right channels. To keep the power clean as well as prodigious, the driver and preamp stages - and even the supply to the front panel - are individually regulated in seven steps.
