Naim Audio and Bentley will be showcasing the breath-taking Naim for Bentley Premium Audio System at this year’s Paris Motor Show, which takes place 4 - 19 October 2008 at Porte de Versailles.

Bentley has again commissioned a special Naim demonstration room, which will be manned by Naim representatives, to feature within its stand. The room will showcase Naim’s 500 series products, which will be exclusively available for demonstration to visitors to the Bentley stand.

Naim HDX has been getting some excellent press in recent reviews featured in some of the most respected HiFi publications. What HiFi? Sound and Vision’s most recent issue awarded the Naim HDX 5 stars and said “Naim makes hard-disk music an audiophile reality, and in some style – this is an amazing product, and capable of serious performance.” Gramophone also reviewed Naim HDX in its October issue, describing it as “Beautifully built, intuitive in use and expandable, the Naim also sounds like it’s worth every penny of the asking price. This really is hard-disk music coming of age.” Over in Germany Naim HDX has received a great response. Steroplay commented on its pairing with the Naim 555 PS, “This Naim combination with music archive gained the right to call itself the worlds first ‘Audiophile Hard Disk Player’.” Audio magazine referred to the Naim HDX as “A miracle ripper” and said it was “A crucial experience to watch the HDX work, a winner in more than one discipline.”

The world’s first review of the Naim HDX hard disk player appeared in the October 2008 edition of Britain’s Hi-Fi Choice magazine, where it received Five Stars for Sound, Features, Build and Value along with a prestigious Editor’s Choice accolade.

Before describing the HDX as “a wonderful machine, whose music-making is addictively persuasive” Hi-Fi Choice observed “We didn’t expect to be won over by a computerised box of tricks, but we have.”
