Primare I30 - the most awarded Primare model ever ….

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

The Primare I30 has emerged victorious from a group test of its peers in the long-established ultra-critical UK Hi Fi magazine Hi Fi News. In beating the likes of Arcam, Creek and Roksan, the I30 impressed reviewer Richard Stevenson by ‘striking the best balance of sound, style and practicality.’

In conclusion he says that ‘Primare’s I30 is ahead of the game. The fulsome, frighteningly realistic sound never fails to leave you begging for more, the build is exquisite and if you ever get tired of looking at the sumptuous fascia, best check you still have a pulse.’

As a result, the I30 has received the magazine’s ‘Outstanding Product’ citation.

Friday, September 12th, 2008

Onkyo achieved unprecedented success in the 2007 What Hi-Fi? Awards by taking the award for Best Surround Receiver in all price categories: the TX-SR505E won the under £300 category; the TX-SR605 won the £300 to £750 category; and the TX-SR875 won the over £750 category. The TX-SR605 also claimed the overall Product of the Year award for home theater receivers. The key to Onkyo’s success is the 2007 line-up’s high-definition video and audio performance and impressive feature sets. Remarkably, this is the first time that any A/V manufacturer has achieved a clean sweep of these awards. The What Hi-Fi? Awards were held in London on October 2nd, 2007.
